Scholarships

Agri Futures, in collaboration with the New Zealand Rural Games Trust, is proud to offer up to five $1,000 scholarships to support tertiary education costs for students from a rural background whose school has participated in the Clash of the Colleges, or a rural sports athlete.

Eligibility

Secondary School Students

Must be from a school that participated in a Clash of the Colleges event.

Must be a resident or citizen of New Zealand.

Must be pursuing tertiary education in 2025.

Rural Sports Athletes

Must be under 20 years old as of 31 December 2024.

Must be pursuing tertiary education.

General Requirement

All applicants must be from a rural background.

Applications must be submitted by 5pm on 6^th September 2024.

Selection & Announcement

The New Zealand Rural Games Trust Board will decide the winners, who will be acknowledged on Monday, September 30th, 2024. Unsuccessful applicants will be advised of the decision, and no further correspondence will be entered. Where possible, a representative of Agri Futures or the New Zealand Rural Games Trust will award the scholarship at a school assembly.
