Auckland Clash of the Colleges moves to Donalds Farm

On Thursday, 10 April, 120 secondary students will compete in the third annual Auckland Clash of the Colleges, which will be held for the first time at Donald’s Farm in Whitford.

Agri Futures spokesperson Daniel O’Regan said the Agri Futures team has loved working with Mt Albert Grammar School over the past two years. “The team at Mt Albert Grammar were key to our establishment in Auckland, and we’re thrilled that a strong contingent of MAGS students will be attending our event at Donald’s Farm as they are certainly the team to beat!”

Donald’s Farm Manager Sam Waugh said that while the NZ Young Farmers-owned dairy farm is a commercial operation, it also serves as an outdoor learning centre to inspire younger generations to engage with the dairy industry. “We run many programmes for secondary school students so they can experience dairy farming firsthand, and we’re looking forward to welcoming students from across the upper North Island for Clash of the Colleges.”
